From the North Shore to the Twin Cities and from the Prairies to the Great River Road, Minnesota is a diverse and beautiful state with so much to offer. I arrived in the Gopher State at Duluth and headed north from there all the way to the Canadian border. From there I traveled the length and breadth of the state with my camera always at the ready. I met wonderful people, explored picturesque small towns and beautiful state parks. I enjoyed learning about the history of the state, from the Native peoples to the Minnesota’s most recent immigrants. The highlight of my visit was the time I spent in Itasca State Park which holds the headwaters of the Mississippi River. I hope you enjoy these photos from Minnesota as much as I enjoyed taking them.
